Pools & Fountains

Interaction with water is a certain way to elicit excitement and laughter from children and adults alike. Pools and fountains are in heavy demand for family fun and recreation and both require specialized skill and experience in design to ensure success. Many communities are reinventing the traditional municipal pool by taking cues from water parks and playgrounds. This new breed of pools provides extra fun along with safer ways that parents can keep an eye on children of all ages. In order to customize every pool project for each community, MSI Design leads interactive public sessions where both kids and adults can give their input toward the pool’s design. Interactive fountains have become a focal point of parks and public spaces, attracting visitors from throughout the region. These splash pads, fountains and pop-jets maximize both the investment in water features and the fun generated. Significant expertise in the design and implementation of interactive fountains is needed to properly and successfully execute their design. MSI Design has completed a number of these very successful fountains, containing pop-jets, waterfalls and low-depth pools. Currently, MSI Design is collaborating on a one-of-a-kind large-scale interactive fountain as part of the Scioto Mile riverfront park project.
