Planning for Educational Campuses presents an exciting challenge to preserve the established traditions, while introducing new ideas. This is particularly true in efforts to achieve high standards of sustainability and green practices in design. Whether large-scale master planning or single-site campus development projects, MSI Design has a wealth of experience ranging from small private institutions through the largest public universities. Recent work includes planning and implementation of site improvements to the iconic Ohio State University campus spaces of the Main Library grounds and the Oval, as well as all site improvements for Ithaca College’s Athletic/Events Center. MSI Design understands the correlation between future vision and near-term action needed in educational campus planning. We also appreciate the desire to add legacy elements to a campus without sacrificing practical utility, and we bring that design sensibility to each of our campus planning projects.
