Corporate

Corporate Campus planning has rapidly evolved from the typical suburban outerbelt model of previous decades. More than ever, companies are realizing the importance of creating high quality environments, and the impacts that decisions about the corporate campus have on employee productivity and recruiting, corporate image, and efforts toward environmental stewardship. MSI Design has been active in creating these high quality environments since the beginning of our practice. Corporate sustainability efforts stretch back over a decade to the comprehensive stormwater plan for the Chase Bank (then Bank One) campus. That plan utilized a series of infiltration ponds and wetlands to mitigate the stormwater impacts of the site while also creating a relaxing site amenity for employees, including a heavily used walking trail. These efforts have continued to the present day with MSI Design’s forward-thinking sustainable approach to the Nextedge technology campus. It employs large-scale native plantings and a regional stormwater design that results in water quality improved from the pre-development stage.
