Green Roofs

MSI Design has built numerous parks, plazas, pools, and civic features on the rooftops of usable building space. Whether a large-scale campus quad over an underground garage, or a pool deck on a multi-story residential project, sophisticated technical skills are required to create these environments as long-lasting assets to the projects. When properly executed, these green park roofs add utility and aesthetic value while collecting stormwater and creating natural cooling, among other sustainable advantages. MSI Design has successfully implemented these designs including recent work on the University of Miami Quad and the Arena Crossing apartments. MSI Design’s park space located on the roof of the underground parking garage is currently under construction at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
