Playgrounds are not only the classic spots for kids to play, but also where designers get to be kids again. One of the biggest and best reasons that we are all drawn to this profession is the opportunity to imagine fun, lasting places that help create lifelong memories. The MSI Design team dives headlong into every playground design, looking for opportunities to create the unusual, whimsical and creative. Incorporating even simple elements such as garden mazes and splash zone water play areas has an enormous impact on the success of a playground, and on the amount of time that parents can relax on the sidelines (or join in) while the kids find hours of fun. Whether the solar system theme at the fully-accessible Discovery Frontier Playground, or the adventure interplay between zoo animals and activities at Busch Garden’s Jungala, MSI Design’s playgrounds always fuel the fire of children’s imaginations.
