Urban Parks evoke the heartbeat of a city by providing the gathering places for the greater metropolitan community. Great urban parks successfully combine the aspects of classic urban design with an understanding of the elements that create lasting, quality public spaces. MSI Design has developed iconic park spaces including downtown riverfronts that serve as a city’s front door, as well as new neighborhood parks that, once built, dramatically increase surrounding real estate values in emerging downtown districts. Our parks have become cherished urban spaces where public events such as fireworks and city marathons are held, sports victories are celebrated and weddings are conducted. Just as importantly, these parks contribute to the daily fabric of the city as oases for residents and downtown workers and as outdoor playrooms for day-care centers. Small-scale urban pocket parks are also a forte of MSI Design.
