Our approach to urban design creates livable communities—friendly, “walkable” neighborhoods—that enhance the lives of the residents, while integrating a variety of functions, like entertainment, retail, office, residential, mixed-use and parkland, into common areas. The challenge of urban design lies in creating an economically viable setting without sacrificing the integrity of the urban experience. We favor a neo-traditional approach of tight development blocks, grid street patterns, hidden parking, open plazas and linear parks—all designed on a pedestrian scale.
