A primary north-south thoroughfare for the city of Olmsted Falls, Columbia Road is the focus of new development as this west-side Cleveland suburb expands. Strategies for expanding upon the city’s historical core and for increasing taxable income to balance the city’s residential growth were at the heart of the plan. MSI provided full planning and urban design services and guided a public process to develop a land use strategy and guidelines for areas adjacent to the corridor.
