Crocker Park is a new central town center for the Cleveland suburb of Westlake, Ohio. The goal of the project was to establish an authentic heart to the community, which was built up as a bedroom community for workers in downtown Cleveland and nearby industrial areas. Following the historic “Main Street tradition,” Crocker Park includes first floor retail and entertainment space with second story residential and office uses. The design of Crocker Park is focused on quality public spaces. A central boulevard park and a series of urban plazas and passageways characterize the public realm, creating the elements needed for a successful neighborhood. MSI provided site design, grading and construction documents for all development site components, included streets and streetscapes, plazas, civic attractions, parks, kiosks, fountains and gardens.
