Community, business, civic, and city leaders were brought together to craft a vision for Cuyahoga Falls. The Community Strategic Plan focuses on addressing the downtown area by re-opening its pedestrian mall to automobile traffic, adding significant commercial and residential development, and building a civic green to reconnect the downtown street grid to the Cuyahoga River. Taking a forward-thinking approach, the plan redefines the downtown core, creates new neighborhoods, and plans for a new secondary education campus.
