Dublin Methodist Hospital will greatly expand access to medical care in Columbus’ burgeoning northwest corridor. Through the relationship of interior and exterior spaces, the hospital is designed as a fully integrated, healing environment. The unusual shape of the site allows for a significant public presence to nearby US 33 and the separation of employee parking and other services. This also provides locations for an extensive stormwater and wetland retention system. In addition, as a Pebble Project, the facility will be evaluated to study and measure the relationship between health care delivery and the built environment to aid in the design and implementation of future health care facilities.
