The Etna Township 310 Corridor Plan was initiated to manage the increased growth pressure from residential, commercial and industrial development. Based on a series of community planning principles agreed to by the township, the plan defined the land uses, intensity, pattern and the aesthetic character along the corridor. The plan also devised strategies to redevelop Old Etna, and manage increased traffic.
