Indian Springs Children’s Playground, reinforces the connection to the natural world through its forms, materials and experiences.
As an extension of JCEDC’s environmental education concept, the raindrop-themed playground symbolizes the origin of the water cycle. Circular landforms rise and retreat within the landscape echoing rain droplets as they fall to earth. Such traditional play elements as slides, tunnels, mazes and bridges are integrated with an interactive zero-depth spray zone, climbing walls and the mosaic of earthwork, providing a unique and adventurous playground environment.
