Harry P. Leu Gardens of Orlando, Florida, designated approximately three acres of the overall garden as a Demonstration Garden. With a design to accommodate all users, the demonstration gardens is an outdoor classroom for ‘how to’ gardening in Central Florida’s climate and soil conditions.The garden features a central gazebo and lawn area for outdoor classes and school trips. An open air exhibition building provides room for cooking classes, as well as protection from inclement weather. In addition, there are areas to demonstrate examples of bird gardens, water gardens, patio gardens, wild flowers, shade gardens and a sculpture garden. An area with raised planter beds provides hands-on interactive involvement for the disabled. MSI services included conceptual design and execution of the Master Plan, as well as full design services from schematic design through construction documentation.
